Hello! I’m in kind of a lull with work on Untrustworthy lately—all the proofreading is finished, and it’s still too early for most promotional activity—but I wanted to send a quick note with a few updates:
I’m leaving my role at The Week, and you can read about why in my final column. I’m still figuring out what’s next and will entertain freelancing opportunities, job offers, etc. Get in touch!
One bit of book news, which I already posted on Twitter but hadn’t gotten around to mentioning here: My advanced reader copy came.
Also on the subject of the book, I’m working on a small series about Untrustworthy for subscribers of this newsletter only which will publish around the time of the book release. More details coming soon.
And there will likely be some sort of “review team” which you can join to get an early copy in exchange for reading my book and posting some online reviews. Expect details on that soon(ish), too.
Finally, a couple new columns from me at Christianity Today. Both are very Untrustworthy-related, and my forthcoming print column in the July/August issue is an adapted excerpt from the book:
The confusion in our free speech debate
Hearing lies about Russia’s war in Ukraine? The best defense is virtue.
That’s all for now! Talk to you soon.
Best,
Bonnie
Is the Week just not doing editorials at all then? If so what is the focus of the publication going to be?
