Hello again. No big professional news this time—though I do have another New York Times piece hopefully nearing publication, so that’s exciting—but a personal update: We’re expecting a third baby in the spring.
As with our twins, I anticipate sharing very little publicly (I wrote about our rationale for strict digital privacy rules in 2019 at The Week), but this will mean an absence from writing for a little while next year and maybe a reprise of my takes on kids and tech, postpartum injuries, and taking babies on planes.
I think I’ve mentioned I’m not sure what I’ll do with this newsletter and my work schedule now that Untrustworthy is out, and that uncertainty remains. For now, I’m still freelancing, toying with a new book idea (no spoilers!), considering some different options … I dunno. We’ll see.
I’ll continue to stay in touch here and continue to welcome any questions as you’re reading Untrustworthy. If you’ve already bought the book, I’d be in your debt if you also reviewed it on Amazon and/or requested your local library buy a copy, too. And if you haven’t bought it, well…
I’ve got so many mouths to feed!
