The ideas in this piece are something I’ve never even considered, much less thought about so deeply. Too much of what I see is something I’ve already completely mulled over in my mind or even written about, but with your articles, I am regularly exposed to some fresh perspectives.
I laughed from the start. You are wonderfully unique and bold to flat out write it like you see it. I reflected on my own personal style. I spent 40 years in engineering. For Easter, I chose a blue shirt, yellow tie, khaki pants, my "dress" New Balance sneakers and a Jos A Bank sport jacket. I will spare you a photo. A sad note, we are so appearance conscious. I t is sad, especially when it comes to photo ops in fatigues while holding a weapon. And the Fox News thing has bothered me, but then they are so cute. I realize I would not write all this publicly and admire you for doing it.
“I’m certainly not suggesting that anyone’s worth and dignity as a person are determined by appearance.”
What an odd thing to say as liberals are losing their minds over “gender affirming care” which is largely cosmetic and surgical. Who cares about conservative women with their fillers and Botox… young liberal women are slicing off their breasts to affirm their “worth” and “dignity” as a person.
I would not be the first to point out that young liberal women are slicing off their breasts as a trend for Team D human females. At least Botox and fillers are reversible. Double mastectomies on minors are not. Conservative women can still breastfeed — many liberal young women no longer have that option.
I'm not sure that gender surgery was exactly the MSNBC/Biden White House Uniform, but pointing out the grotesqueries of Team R aesthetics does not indicate support for Team D.
I enjoyed this.
Thanks, Aaron, appreciated.

Now do democrats & progressives.
I don’t think I personally know that world well enough to pull it off—I grew up in Republican spaces—but someone else could!
Amazing lol

The only reason Thatcher wasn’t Republican is she wasn’t American. Otherwise, she is the original modern Republican. The comparison is apt.
This feels spot on… and made me so glad that God delivered me out of the world of Republican politics, and politics in general!

How I miss Mrs. Thatcher.
I would not be the first to point out "Mar-A-Lago Face" as a trend for Team R human females.

I detest both.
I wonder what the actual stats are but it seems like 1 or maybe 2 out of every 10 women are remotely rightwing leaning.
I love this ethnographic exposition!!! Both insightful and appropriately cheeky/humorous.
